y2-y2
slope= x2-x1
Remember that the points are always listed (x1, y1) (x2, y2)
Example:
(1, -19) (-2, -7)
First plug the numbers into the equation.
-7-(-19) = 12
-2-1 -3
Now simplify the answer, think, 12 divided by -3 equal -4. The slope is -4.
